Artistic Background
Mariano Mangas is a Spanish flamenco guitarist from Burgos whose musical career combines a strong academic foundation with extensive experience on the international stage.
His training encompasses both classical and flamenco guitar, including studies at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and the Conservatory of Rotterdam, where he further developed his specialization in flamenco guitar.
Throughout his career, Mariano has performed internationally, bringing flamenco to audiences across Europe and beyond. His playing combines technical precision, musical sensitivity and a deep respect for the traditions of flamenco.
With Mariano Mangas & Group, he leads a complete flamenco ensemble in which guitar, singing, dance and percussion come together to create a dynamic and authentic live experience. The group offers a versatile format suitable for theatres, festivals, cultural programmes and international events.
